Ciudad de México.- Autoridades mexicanas sin escrúpulos han sido denunciadas por Front Line Defenders, la organización defensora de derechos humanos, por los ataques, detenciones arbitrarias y hostigamiento, que han sufrido por lo menos siete activistas que defienden a la Caravana Migrante que busca llegar a Estados Unidos.
De acuerdo con la organización, el 13 de febrero, el primero en sufrir ser violentado y deportado fue Paulo Luis Ballestero Flores, activista centroamericano.
Dos días después, el 15 de febrero, los luchadores sociales Denis Omar Contreras, Cristóbal Sánchez Sánchez, Olvin Inocente Interiano Mejía y Joel Bernabel Rivera fueron detenidos porque las autoridades de la Ciudad de México se sintieron con las ganas de hacerlo.
Ese mismo día, Andrea Margarita Núñez Chaim fue atacada físicamente por los abusivos policías. Margarita estaba intentando proteger a Denis Omar durante su aprehensión.
Tiempo después, el 18 de febrero, Irvin Mondragón, activista de los derechos LGBT, casualmente también fue arrestado en Celaya, Guanajuato.
Todas estas personas constantemente se han visto involucrada en movimientos sociales y su principal lucha gira en torno a la Caravana Migrante que está recorriendo México y tiene el objetivo de llegar a Estados Unidos.
